Okay okay, I know what your first reaction was! Potato chip cookies, eew! But I promise you, you are going to love these. Briseis had to make these babies for one of her state cooking meals. This past year and 2018 as well she has been cooking food from each of the 50 states. Can you guess which state these guys fell under? You guessed it Idaho. Below I am going to tell you how to make them and they are easy to make! And just a little history for you before you start. The world's largest potato chip is 25 feet long and 14 feet wide. It actually should be called a potato CRISP since it was processed and formed. But whatever you call it, it is on display in Blackfoot, Idaho.
 What you will need:
3 cups all-purpose flour (or any flour, we used almond flour)
                                    2 cups crushed potato chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional, Briseis HATES nuts so we left them out)
4 sticks of butter (2 cups)
2 cups sugar (we used coconut sugar)
                                    powdered sugar

Making cookies:
1.Cut together all ingredients using a pastry cutter (or a fork but it will take a lot longer)                                             except powdered sugar.
                             2. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.
                             3. Roll cookies in powdered sugar
And that's it! The way we made it they had a very Christmas cookie taste. Comment with your pictures and share if you enjoyed!
